This is refined and attractive mask from the Baule or Baoule people of the Ivory Coast, West Africa.  Features their characteristic fine carving style, with hooded eyes, and small nose and mouth.  Has facial scarification for tribal identification.  The patina has glossiness and some wear in places  In sound collectable condition.  Length of mask approx 40cm.  This item is decorative, a very nice copy. Stand not included.
