A FINE LOBI ALTAR FIGURE FROM THE IVORY COAST W.AFRICA ( No 246)

This is a refined and tall altar figure from the Lobi people of the Ivory Coast, West Africa.  Depicts a capped figure, depicting a policeman.  Taller than average.  Has a fine carving style.  The patina is clean and has a nice sheen, with a smooth texture throughout.  In good condition, some weathering.  This item is decorative. H approx 30cm
